Analogan ideal fusion of music and art specializing in handmade, unique items celebrating sound and art, is now open atThe OC Mart MiX, a marketplace for gourmet foods, coffee and wine with over 30 shops under one roof in Costa Mesa at South Coast Collection (SOCO).  An eclectic mix of one-of-a-kind products, unique local art, boutique photo 1music equipment, handmade furnishing and accessories, local entrepreneur and musician, Alex Forsythe, created Analog to get musicians and sound enthusiasts something to be excited about again.

As a working musician for over a decade, Alex has come to realize how important the tone of the instrument is in any given situation. “I've toured the country and visited music shops in close to 30 states,” says Analog founder Alex Forsythe. “I've spent years trying to find the most unique, well made and interesting sounding guitar effect pedals to achieve that tone.  Realizing that getting these pedals, and this tone, isn't as easy as going to a local guitar center and picking a few things up, I decided to bring these items to local Orange County musicians. The pedals at Analog are all handmade, hand wired and made by people around the country who truly care about tone.”

In addition to carrying handmade guitar effect pedals from different parts of the country, along with handmade guitar straps from Long Beach, made from automobile leather,  he will be  featuring items such as: handmade, one-of-a-kind ictrola horn iPhone docks; vinyl records from the 20s-50s; original art plus many other prints from various artists, including two local Orange County artists, including:

·         Sean Woosley from Costa Mesa is known for his great woodworking talent and  unique canvas use. Analog will be featuring his handmade, one of a kind lamps, handmade using vintage parts and Edison bulbs, and art pieces that can be seen at

·         Riley Forsythe, Alex’s father. He has been painting professionally for 30+ years and if you've been to Los Angeles you have already seen his work.   His company Walldogs is responsible for the advertising murals on all the large buildings that tower over LA, most recently the 3 portraits of the Clippers on Hotel Figueroa.
